| Krishna In Dwarka - Tussar Silk Painting |
Krishna's choice of peace. Krishna left Mathura to avoid the constant warfare and misery with aggressive enemies to set up his kingdom at Dwarka in Gujarat. He was accompanied by his wife Rukmini and some of his loyal followers. This brave choice of peace over conflict is an event that is rarely depicted in a painting and is here brought to you, in the glory of Tussar Silk, by a master painter from Orissa. The artist uses the natural colors of vegetable dyes and extracts to depicts Krishna riding triumphantly into his new kingdom and the maidens of Dwarka greet his arrival with joy and enthusiasm. How to Display: This painting can be displayed in a protective glass (preferably non-reflecting glass) frame with a plain or ornamental border. This will help preserve the richness and lustre of its colors. You can also display it like any wall-hanging (unframed). Make sure that the painting does not get direct sunlight. Maintenance Tips: If displayed unframed, do not hang the painting on a damp wall. Keep it clear of dirt and dust by cleaning it with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush. If the painting is being framed, then make sure the frame is air-tight. Height: 45 cms (18) Width: 100 cms (40) Delivery: 1-2 weeks.
