| The Special Yaksha Yantras Set |
FREE! Indiayogi is pleased to offer - as a free gift - a beautiful display cloth with every order. The Yantras can be displayed against the cloth for maximum visual impact. An additional advantage is that this cloth is very conducive to maintaining the energized vibrations of the Yantras at their original levels as it prevents contact with any surface that might drain their power over time. While Yantras work very well individually, they also have greatly multiplied power and impact if combined in a judicious manner. One of the traditional methods of so doing was to group the Yaksha Yantras together. The Yakshas were the ancient earth energies of the land as their very name, ‘Yaksha’ testifies. The word is derived from ‘Yakshamam’ – ‘we shall protect’ and signifies their protective functions as well as their enhancing of the material prosperity of their worshippers. The worship of the Yakshas have been around as long as India has recorded history. They were always seen as the guardians and protectors of the powerful and prosperous nation that ancient India used to be. Even today some of the most popular and socially significant forms of God come from the Yaksha group of deities. These include Saraswati, Laxmi and Kali - the White, Red and Black triad of goddesses, always found together in ancient sacred places of pilgrimage. The Yakshas also include Hanuman, Ganesha [Ganapati] and Kubera. For details of each one of these gods please look at our gods section in indiayogi where they have all been covered extensively. Interestingly, sculptural representations of the Yaksha group of deities usually had a group of seven Mother goddesses flanked by Ganapati and Kubera on either wing. The most famous example is the Saptamatrika cave sculptures in the world heritage site of Ellora temple. The Classical Yaksha group of deities however is always, as seen from right to left, Ganapati, Saraswati, Sri, Mahakali and Kubera. What is interesting in this formulation is that both Ganapati and Kubera are dual-gender deities combining both male and female energies in the classic huge-belly representation style known as the Pregnant Male. It would be prohibitive to set up five such images of god, both cost as well as space being usually not available for the average person. However, setting up Yantras in the classic sequence works just as well. indiayogi is pleased to present the Yaksha group of Yantras as a single premium set. What is interesting about this Yaksha group is that once you have these Yantras, you have more or less covered all the major concerns of life. Ganapati ensures auspicious beginnings, the removals of obstacles from work, strength and energy to complete and carry forward tasks, as well as protection from unlucky breaks. The Saraswati Yantra deals with all aspects of mind, sharpening the intellect and honing the decision making abilities, as well as improving one’s memory and recall. It provides both a desire as well as an ability to learn and grow. The Sri Yantra is the supreme Yantra in the center, with a dominant healing and Laxmi energy, but actually, as is explained in the article on the Sri Yantra, representative of the entire cosmos. The Mahakali Yantra protects you against all ill luck and negative forces directed your way, as well as infuses you with strength to overcome all issues. The Kubera Yantra, as befits its lord, who is the god of wealth, provides you the requisite prosperity to live your life in the manner you desire. It is clear that the classical grouping emerged after much thought and insight. Installing all five Yantras simultaneously is supposed to be most auspicious and better than getting them in piecemeal. The impact of the Yantras is greatly enhanced by their creative intermingling. indiayogi offers you the complete set of Yaksha Yantras at a discount of 20%. Buying them as a set is more value for money than buying them individually.
